Grown-up's Night Out in Silver LAke

Q: We are looking for a "grown-up's night out" restaurant recommendation in the Silver Lake section of Los Angeles.

A: L & E Oyster Bar comes recommended by chef David Lefevre (MB Post, Fishing with Dynamite) and Night + Market Song is chef Kris Yenbamroong’s newest restaurant. But neither take reservations.

Alimento, recommended by chef Walter Manzke (Republique, Petty Cash) does take reservations (Book a Table). Alimento is rustic Northern Italian meets Southern California fare with house-mades pastas. Chef Zach Pollack is also the co-chef & co-owner of Sotto.

For coffee, there is Lamill and if you need a wine store, Silverlake Wine has a nice selection.
