Butcher & Bee
We serve Israeli inspired comfort food that focuses on local farms and is heavy on the vegetables. We encourage people to share food and pass plates around the table. We also have good music and a lively bar.
Menu highlights Not to Be Missed
Whipped Feta with Fermented Honey
It is our best selling dish by far, it's like Middle Eastern queso. Avocado crispy rice, Serrano vin, peanuts - so many flavors and textures, and it's vegan.
Seared Abalone Mushroom with Spiced Labneh and Green Tomato Jam
It's large mushrooms that we treat like a steak. It's a stunning dish when it comes out.
We toss our thighs with 'nduja (an Italian spicy, spreadable pork salumi) butter and a spice blend we call Tennessee Togarashi.

Robert's Western World
If you have to do a honky tonk, make sure it's Robert's. Definitely don't leave Nashville without seeing some music, it's everywhere here.

The Volunteer Trail
Granny Wright Lane
Hermitage, TN 37076
Go to a Nashville Predators game. Wear gold and yell loud. It's crazy fun.
The Goo Goo Shop
Specifically the peanut butter one. I have a crazy sweet tooth and this scratches that itch. Plus the shop is fun... it's like a real life Willy Wonka Factory.

NASHVILLE 24-HOUR GUIDE
MORNING | Coffee & Breakfast
This is in Germantown and I come here for the coffee soda. The food is all pretty delicious as well. It's a bright space, good for waking up.
603 Taylor Street, Nashville, TN 37208
For breakfast, I love it. Hashbrowns smothered, covered and chunked and a pecan waffle.
Tower Market & Deli
If Waffle House doesn't strike your fancy, get a breakfast burrito here with one of their fresh juices.
1305 Gallatin Avenue, Nashville, TN 37206
SHOPPING | Food Markets
Franklin Farmers Market
This is the best market I've been to in Tennessee. There are tons of vendors and while you shop you can get fresh juice from Franklin Juice Company, coffee from Honest, or amazing donuts from Ellie's Old Fashioned Donuts.
As for the market, Bear Creek Beef is some of the best beef I've ever had, Bloomsbury Farm and Rocky Glade Farm are two of my favorites. For raw milk, go to the Amish guy.
230 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN 37064
RESTAURANTS | Lunch
This is a good Asian market and they have a banh mi menu at the counter. It is cash only and really tasty.
2160 Nolensville Pike
Nashville, TN 37211
Taqueria San Luis
This is a meat market, but in the back there is a window where you can order tacos. They are all good, but don't miss the green hot sauce.
369 Harding Place # B
Nashville, TN 37211
Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish
Come here for hot fish. Don't be a hero -- don't get more than medium, unless you want to be in serious pain. Even medium is spicy. Super simple, white bread, fried fish, mustard, onion and pickles.
2309A Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37204
624 Main Street, Nashville, TN 37206
Sit at the bar, drink some whiskey, and order the fried chicken. Everyone talks about the burger, which is great, but I love the chicken.
37 Rutledge Street, Nashville, TN 37210
Arnold's Country Kitchen
This is a Nashville institution for meat and three. Go on Mondays for the fried chicken. But anything you get here is good and Kahlil is one of the nicest people on earth.
605 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203
AFTERNOON | Sweets
Wedgewood-Houston is a cool, growing neighborhood. Claire Meneely's breads and pastries are amazing. Get their baguette or the peanut butter cookies, whatever you are in the mood for.
516 Hagan Street #103, Nashville, TN 37203
BARS | Cocktails
Great drinks and the patio is amazing. Also good for a light snack. Everything they do is delicious and cooked over fire.

Nicky's Coal Fired
Everything is delicious, but his pastas are the star for me.
5026 Centennial Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37209
Chef Tandy Wilson is a great guy and his food reflects this. Simple clean Southern flavors using Italian food as a backdrop. Sit at the kitchen counter or on the screened patio.

This is a newer spot and it's great for oysters and cocktails.
200 4th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37208
Cheeseburger and fries, a shot of fernet and a shiner out of a plastic cup -- this is my idea of a good time.

Open late for queso... what else do you need?
Open until midnight, 2am on weekends

WORTH THE DRIVE
Outside of Nashville, if you have a car, this is one of the few places still doing whole hog BBQ and it's amazing.
