Butcher & Bee

The Experience

We serve Israeli inspired comfort food that focuses on local farms and is heavy on the vegetables. We encourage people to share food and pass plates around the table. We also have good music and a lively bar.

Menu highlights Not to Be Missed

Whipped Feta with Fermented Honey
It is our best selling dish by far, it's like Middle Eastern queso. Avocado crispy rice, Serrano vin, peanuts - so many flavors and textures, and it's vegan.

Seared Abalone Mushroom with Spiced Labneh and Green Tomato Jam
It's large mushrooms that we treat like a steak. It's a stunning dish when it comes out.

Fried Chicken
We toss our thighs with 'nduja (an Italian spicy, spreadable pork salumi) butter and a spice blend we call Tennessee Togarashi.

The Goo Goo Shop

Specifically the peanut butter one. I have a crazy sweet tooth and this scratches that itch. Plus the shop is fun... it's like a real life Willy Wonka Factory.

Franklin Farmers Market

This is the best market I've been to in Tennessee. There are tons of vendors and while you shop you can get fresh juice from Franklin Juice Company, coffee from Honest, or amazing donuts from Ellie's Old Fashioned Donuts.

As for the market, Bear Creek Beef is some of the best beef I've ever had, Bloomsbury Farm and Rocky Glade Farm are two of my favorites. For raw milk, go to the Amish guy.

Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish

Come here for hot fish. Don't be a hero -- don't get more than medium, unless you want to be in serious pain. Even medium is spicy. Super simple, white bread, fried fish, mustard, onion and pickles.
